Brendon is a clinical pharmacist currently working for WellSouth PHO tasked with improving health outcomes of Maori living in the Otago and Southland regions.
He has just completed a Masters in Health Science (first class honours) looking at stakeholder experiences of the Pharmacist Minor Ailment Service and access equity for Maori.
Brendon has a strong interest in vitamins and minerals having completed the ACNEM (Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) foundation courses.
He is excited to lead a discussion with dietitian prescribers, covering topics such as common drug-nutrient interactions, some interaction mechanisms, how to navigate Stockley's interaction database and de-prescribing safely. |
