In addition you will carry a clinical case load of at least 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
If you are a person with a will to influence and support allied health staff to be well positioned to meet the changing needs within health. Then this newly established Clinical Lead role may be for you.
The Clinical lead role has been established to support the allied health professional leader in their role of providing expertise, advice and guidance in the development of strategies that ensure a service that provides high user experience, expert and effective care and efficient delivery.
In this role you will work closely with the profession specific managers and staff in the development and implementation of workforce development plans, recruitment and retention strategies, and you will actively account for quality and patient safety and ensure related KPI’s are delivered to.
In addition you will be actively identifying opportunities for research and innovation across your profession through the identification of projects and individuals and groups to deliver these.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- To hold relevant New Zealand registration and annual practising certificate or equivalent.
- To be self- motivated, accountable and to work independently.
- Hold a current Drivers Licence.
