Contract: Fixed Term, Part time
Salary: Allied, Public Health & Technical MECA, Allied, Public Health & Technical Pay Scale ($59,035 – $83,030)
Location: Gisborne Hospital, Dietetics
Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti has a vacancy for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our small friendly team. The position is part time and is based at Gisborne Hospital. The successful applicant will work in a range of inpatient, community and outpatient settings. This role is well suited to a dietitian with experience who is looking for a flexible working environment or a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in a supportive environment; clinical supervision will be provided.

a want to live and work in the beautiful and sunny Gisborne a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate with prescribing endorsement (or in the process of applying for these) keen to work as part of a small team of dedicated and enthusiastic clinical dietitians and have the ability to work independently in managing own case load a strong understanding of inequity and the contributing factors, as well as dedication to help your patients/clients achieve their health outcomes open minded with a desire to extend your skills in a variety of clinical areas a passion for dietetics and a positive can-do attitude able to use initiative and show flexibility in a variety of settings excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work with a wide variety of people experience in working with people of different ethnicities
evidence of excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload resourceful and able to think outside the square a current drivers licence able to speak Te Reo Maori (would be an advantage)
