Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now we are seeking an exceptional Dietitian to join our Diabetes Service based at Whangarei Hospital.

In this role you will provide nutrition assessment and intervention to clients based in the community, working both autonomously and as a member of our multi-disciplinary team. With the growth of our Diabetes Service and especially our nutrition & dietetic team, this job offers potential for diversity and opportunity within the role of mentoring and supporting colleagues working with people who have diabetes.

To be successful in this role you will need to have/hold:

  • Registration with the Dietitians Board of New Zealand.
  • A current practicing certificate with a Dietitian Prescriber endorsement.
  • A full drivers licence.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clinical dietetic experience, across a range of sub-specialities.
