We are looking for a General Manager who can bring their combined experience in both the healthcare sector and business management to guide the association into the next phase of its development.

This role requires a broad mix of operational and strategic skills as you plan, develop, and implement, in conjunction with a Council, the organisation’s strategic plan. Your leadership skills will be well used to lead and guide the operational and financial requirements of the association. At the same time, you will be required to manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Every day is different and provides new challenges. A high level of organisational skills and autonomy will be required to manage the diverse requirements of this role.

You will be experienced in;

• Working within the healthcare sector
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership and/ or experience managing a member association managerial position health industry
• Supporting the pursuit of Māori health gain as well as achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori
• Relationship management
• Working collaboratively with a council
• Operational and financial management

The role is currently based in Auckland with a work from home arrangement and travel throughout New Zealand as required. The Dietitians NZ Council is open to different opportunities and will consider both part-time and job-share arrangements.
