  • Practice-based Evidence in Nutrition (PEN) is a resource available to Dietitians NZ members, which provides access to up-to-date, relevant research and gives guidance for evidence-based practice. It is updated regularly as evidence changes to inform a change in practice.
  • Access to the Nutrition Care Process Terminology (NCPT) website. NCPT is the standardised language used to support the Nutrition Care Process. Access to the website is now free for all members
  • Support for Professional Development. We provide our members with an up-to-date calendar of PD events and courses, providing information regarding opportunities for professional development, which are easily accessible and relevant.
  • The PD events provide excellent opportunities to socialise with colleagues from the profession and network with potential employers as well as getting support from the local branch dietitians.
  • Access to Special Interest Groups, groups of dietitians specialised in or interested in particular areas of practice who disseminate information pertinent to particular practice areas, organise their own professional development opportunities or just provide a great support base.

  • Bi-monthly e-magazine 'News & Views' with news and articles from the dietetic sector.

  • Subsided Dietitians New Zealand Clinical Handbook. The 11th edition of the Clinical e-handbook will be officially launched on Wednesday 9 March 2016.   • Development of submissions used to inform changes to Government nutrition-related policy and legislation.

  • Annual national dietitians conference/national meeting to up-skill in a range of areas.

  • Access to the Dietitians NZ closed Facebook forum, developed as a medium to facilitate thoughtful discussion, networking and raise awareness of professional development events for nutrition colleagues.
